Nozzle Tubular Band Heaters

Akinband™ nozzle tubular band heaters are engineered for efficient and reliable heating of machine nozzles, particularly in plastic processing equipment. These heaters consist of a coil of high-temperature Inconel-sheathed cable housed inside a low-expansion stainless steel shroud, providing excellent durability and heat transfer performance.

The compact tubular design allows these heaters to deliver concentrated heat directly to the nozzle area while maintaining a low-profile structure for easy installation. Their construction ensures strong contact with the heated surface, which improves heat transfer efficiency and provides consistent operating temperatures.

Akinband™ heaters are manufactured with standard cold tail lengths of 5 inches and 7 inches in staggered configuration. Standard lead lengths are available in 36 inches and 72 inches, providing flexible installation options. For easy identification, 250-watt heaters use white/black leads, while 125-watt heaters use white/red leads.

These heaters are available in a variety of sizes, voltages, and wattage ratings to match different nozzle diameters and heating requirements. Their rugged design allows them to operate efficiently even in demanding industrial environments.
